Biolog Transfusion® relies on RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification). The solution combines an electronic label (RFID tag) which is affixed to each Blood Unit, Smart Shelving Kits as well as RFID readers/writers placed at strategic points along the chain and a Software Suite.
