MacoGenic G2 – UVA Illumination device used for extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) is an off-line technique based on the exposure of peripheral blood mononuclear cells to the photosensitizing agent (8-methoxypsoralen or 8-MOP) and UVA illumination. Extracorporeal photopheresis (ECP) has been recognised by the scientific community as therapeutic option to treat various disorders, eg: CTCL, GvHD, solid organ rejection & etc.
