Ng Boon Thiam is the Group CEO of Biomed Global – one of the most respected channels in the biomedical and life sciences industry in Malaysia and Singapore.
He received his B.Sc. in Medical Technology from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, USA before working in Singapore. Recognizing the need to improve the standards of healthcare in Malaysia, he started Biomarketing Services (now known as Biomed Global) in 1994 together with Mr. Chen.
Chen Keng Hoong is the Executive Director of Biomed Global and serves on the board of directors of BMS Diagnostics and Biomed Diagnostics Singapore. He holds an honors degree in Biology from The National University of Malaysia (UKM) and began his career as a product specialist in a medical device company. He then co-founded Biomarketing Services (now known as Biomed Global) with Mr. Ng in 1994.
From the start, he has been responsible for raising the standards of healthcare by focusing on critical healthcare.
Chew Siew Ling joined the Group in 2002. Leveraging on her two decades of experience in clinical diagnostics, stem cell, and blood transfusion medicine industry, she successfully established the Group’s microbiology business in Malaysia.
She is currently the Chief Operating Officer for Biomed Global. The Group’s accomplishments are testament to her ability to lead and execute business strategies and operational improvements. She is also inspired by standards and meaning and is passionate about making a positive difference in everything she does.
