As an intern at Biomed Global, I had the chance to step into the dynamic world of healthcare and medical technology, an opportunity that far surpassed my expectations. My time here not only helped me gain valuable technical skills but also offered me a closer look at the business side of the industry.
A Deep Dive Into Healthcare Sales and Applications
One of the most exciting aspects of my internship was the chance to shadow the sales team and application specialists during their customer visits. I saw firsthand how the team communicates with clients, addresses their needs, and fosters relationships that go beyond just closing a deal. This experience taught me that sales in healthcare aren’t just about transactions; it’s about understanding the customer and providing the right solutions that truly make a difference.
Sharpening My Laboratory Skills
In addition to the business side, I had the opportunity to work on a mini project that really honed my laboratory skills. This hands-on experience gave me a solid foundation in understanding lab operations and reinforced my technical knowledge. It was both challenging and rewarding, and I now feel more confident in my lab-related skills as I look ahead to future roles in the field.

I’m extremely grateful to Ms. See and Mr. Zul for being outstanding mentors throughout my internship. Their generosity in sharing their expertise and guiding me through various challenges made all the difference. Their mentorship has played a key role in my personal and professional growth, and it’s something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my career.
