Interning at Biomed Global as part of the Application Life Sciences team has been an eye-opening and rewarding experience. Over the past two months, I had the opportunity to step beyond academic learning and gain real-world exposure to the biomedical sales process, data management, marketing, and customer visits. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of the industry but also helped me develop valuable skills for my future career.
Exposure to the Biomedical Sales Process
Coming into this internship, I was eager to learn how the biomedical industry operates beyond textbooks. One of my key roles was managing data, which gave me insights into how information is structured and utilized in real-world applications. I also had the chance to work on marketing initiatives, which helped me understand how biomedical products and services are positioned in the market.
Another highlight was participating in customer visits, where I observed firsthand how professionals engage with clients, present solutions, and address customer needs. These experiences gave me a more holistic view of the biomedical sales process and how different aspects come together to create a seamless workflow.
Support and Mentorship
What truly made this internship special was the supportive and encouraging environment at Biomed Global. From day one, my colleagues and mentors were always ready to guide me, answer my questions, and help me navigate my tasks. Their willingness to share knowledge and insights made me feel valued as part of the team.
The well-structured workflow also helped me stay organized and focused. I learned how to manage multiple responsibilities effectively and apply my knowledge in a practical setting. This experience has given me more confidence in my abilities and a stronger foundation for my future career.
A Truly Rewarding Experience
Looking back, my time at Biomed Global has been an incredible learning journey. The combination of hands-on tasks, mentorship, and exposure to different aspects of the industry has broadened my perspective and reinforced my interest in the biomedical field.
I am truly grateful for this opportunity and for the amazing team that made this experience so meaningful. As I move forward, I carry with me not only the skills and knowledge I’ve gained but also the connections and confidence to pursue my career in biomedicine.
